Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all business quotations, sampling orders, custom manufacturing runs, and services provided by SM Labels to fashion brands, garment exporters, retailers, and independent designers.

1. Artwork Submission & Digital Proofs

Prior to setting up looms or printing plates, SM Labels supplies a digital simulation proof indicating label dimensions, fold positions, sewing clearance zones, and approximate Pantone shade values. It is the client's responsibility to thoroughly review typography, spelling, care symbols, and size numbers. Mass manufacturing commences strictly after formal written approval of the digital or physical strike-off sample.

2. Color Matching & Textile Tolerances

While we utilize standardized Pantone Formula Guides (TPX/TCX/C) for yarn dyeing and ink formulation, clients acknowledge that subtle variations in sheen, texture, and hue can occur between different substrate materials (e.g., polyester woven yarn versus natural cotton tape versus duplex cardboard). A commercial variance within acceptable industry thresholds is standard.

3. Manufacturing Quantity Tolerances

Due to the mechanical nature of jacquard weaving warping, rotary plate setups, and automated die-cutting, custom manufacturing runs are subject to an industry-standard quantity tolerance of ±5%. Clients are invoiced based on final inspected delivered quantities.

4. Client Artwork Warranties & Indemnity

By submitting artwork files (logos, brand names, registered marks), the client warrants that they hold full legal ownership or necessary licensing rights to reproduce said graphics. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SM Labels against any trademark infringement claims, copyright disputes, or legal liabilities arising from the production of supplied designs.

5. Turnaround & Freight Dispatch

Standard prototype lead times range from 3 to 6 business days. Bulk manufacturing typically requires 7 to 12 business days following sample approval. Dispatch is executed from our manufacturing facilities in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad (UP) or Naroda Road, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) via reputed national logistics carriers. SM Labels is not liable for freight delays caused by natural force majeure events or carrier transit exceptions.

6. Jurisdiction & Inquiries
